With 10 years experience as a producer/director for House and Home media, Isabella frequently sees many beautiful kitchens and it was time to bring her work home. With an old 10 year kitchen plan and not sure where to begin Isabella called on her friend Cameron Macneil, House and Home magazine senior design editor. With Isabella's vision and Cameron's input, the final transformation was a beautiful contemporary French Bistro style kitchen. When not at work Isabella enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
A space completely transformed from drab to elegantly chic was created with the vision of House and Home's senior designer Cameron MacNeil. Inspired by AyA's Vermont door in Anthracite and Latte painted finishes, Cameron set out to create a beautiful contemporary kitchen. Combining luxurious Quartz countertops, chunky rustic hardware and the ever classic brick patterned backsplash, gave us all the ingredients for an enjoyable cooking and dining experience, bistro style. Dark Anthracite base cabinets contrasted with light Latte wall cabinets, some featuring glass doors and shelving, allows for an open spacious feeling as well as the opportunity to display items too charming to hide behind closed doors. Additional open storage is provided with extra thick reclaimed wood shelving and stainless steel brackets for that country farmhouse touch.
